The Travel Show team came to Turkey for three days of filming in Kusadasi and Dalyan on the Aegean coast. Presenter Mike Corey explores a sunken airliner, one of several scuttled in recent years by the creation of artificial reefs devised to attract tourism to the area. During his trip to Dalyan, he meets 96 year old Captain June, a woman who has devoted her life to saving the country’s loggerhead turtles.
As well as organizing travel and permits, we worked with local authorities to gain access to tourist attractions and vantage points. We sourced an underwater camera crew and local experts – including an interview with the mayor.
