It is possible to shoot in Turkey at the moment. We’ve completed 16 projects over the past year and there’s several more in production and pre production right now. We are filming remotely on behalf of international producers and we are also filming safely with visiting crews.

Our Systems Give You Options

  1. We research, recce, cast and produce in partnership with you. 
  2. We shoot to your specifications and send you the material at the end of each day.
  3. We interact in real time throughout the recce and shoot using Zoom, for example.
  4. We upload the material to an FTP from location so you can playback and comment whilst we are still filming.  
  5. We live stream from the camera so you can view and direct. For example, we can use LiveU Solo – https://gosolo.tv/

 

You Remain In Control

When you work remotely with us you are in charge of your shoot at every stage. We listen carefully to ensure your team is happy at the end of every shoot day. 

You can:

  • Check the look of the interview setup
  • Confirm the GVs are what you envisaged
  • Direct the talent remotely yourself
  • Approve the shot match or backplate 
  • Supervise two teams simultaneously

 

Remote Shoots During the Pandemic

  1. Windfall Films – Europe From Above (National Geographic)

Our Line Producer had already begun filming with the Windfall Films crew when the global lockdown was announced, international travel was banned. Our MA Productions local crew stepped in and completed the majority of the shoot on behalf of the Windfall Films team. 

  • Equipped with the Director’s script, we produced, directed and filmed the interviews.
  • Developed and produced a new story in line with the brief. 
  • Selected the story locations.
  • Sourced contributors all over the country – in Malatya, Antalya, Çanakkale, Kars and the Taurus Mountains. 

We achieved all this, while navigating the changing COVID-19 restrictions and maintaining our safety protocols. It was an amazing collaboration. 

  1. Blink Films- Extraordinary Twins (ITV)

This shoot demanded extremely careful COVID protocols because of the delicate health of the children we were filming. 

  • Our crew followed the Series Director’s brief. 
  • Producer Zeynep reported back to the Director each evening and together they discussed the plan for the next day. 
  • Even though there were strict lockdown measures in place in Ankara, we secured filming permits for the zoo and the parks run by the local government. What’s more, they agreed to waive their usual filming fees.

This commercial shoot was a part of an enormous global campaign. In Turkey, the scene was set in the home of an influencer.  

  • Camera tests with a probe lens were conducted in the office the day before filming, to ensure we spent as little time on location as possible. 
  • We set up remote shoot playback via Zoom with a direct feed to the Director’s screen in LA. He was able to direct the action and see the results in real time. This was a low cost, practical and efficient system. 
  • Using a small and skilled crew of 5 people, we maintained social distancing.
